THIS ALSO INCLUDED BOOGIE WOOGIE TEAM OF JAAVED JAAFERI, NAAVED JAAFERI AND RAVI BEHL. THE PARTY WAS HELD AT YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR HARPREET SINGH AHLUWALIA’S ‘RUDE LOUNGE’ IN BANDRA. APART FROM RAJU SINGH, HARPREET AHLUWALIA, JAAVED JAAFERI, NAVED JAAFERI,AND RAVI BEHL, HABIBA JAAFERI, MEEZAN JAAFERI AND CHOREOGRAPHER LONGINUS FERNANDES CAME ALONG. OTHER THAN THE SUMPTUOUS CONTINENTAL DINNER, THE KARAOKE MADE THE NIGHT MOST INTERESTING WITH RAJU SINGH, JAAVED JAAFERI BELTING OUT SOME AMAZING HINDI AND ENGLISH NUMBERS. NAVED, RAVI BEHL AND LONGINUS FERNANDES JOINED IN. THE NIGHT WASN’T COMPLETE WITHOUT MEEZAN AND HABIBA JAAFERI SINGING AS WELL. A TOTAL BOOGIE WOOGIEING NIGHT INDEED.
Boogie Woogie was an Indian dance competition television series created and directed by Javed Jaffrey and Ravi Behl for Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Entertainment Television Asia. The show that began in the year 1996 was hosted by Indian film and television personalities, Javed Jaffrey and Ravi Behl. Javed Jaffrey appears as the permanent celebrity judge. It is one of the oldest dance reality shows on Indian TV and is shot at Mehta Industrial Estate in Andheri, Mumbai. It is also considered the longest running show in India. The immense popularity of the dance reality show has led to the creation of special championship shows, such as kids’ championships, teen championships and celebrity championships etc. Various Indian celebrities, such as Mithun Chakraborty, Juhi Chawla, Esha Deol, Dia Mirza, Govinda, Vivek Oberoi and Ritesh Deshmukh have participated. According to the Sony Entertainment Television Asia website, ‘there are no prizes for winning…loads of accolades, applause and appreciation’.
